Upcoming Garden Party

If you haven’t heard, the Focus on Nature Garden Party is right around the corner. Our 7th annual Garden Party is taking place on September 16th, 2023. The promisingly beautiful location of this event is being held in Ker Cavan gardens at 22 Stuart Street in Guelph.

Our Garden Party is more than just a day to enjoy lovely refreshments, listen to music and enjoy tasty treats in a beautiful garden. It is also a day to support an organization that empowers and inspires children to experience the world as they know it, in a different light. In attending this event, you will be surrounded by great company while also supporting us; a not for profit organization!

We are honoured to showcase 96 photographs taken by elementary school students in Guelph, Waterloo, Halton, Peel, Hamilton and Niagara. The young photographers who have taken the photos that will be featured, have been invited with their families to show off their work. There is nothing like seeing a child beaming with pride over a nature photo they captured that is now being seen by the public rather than just their classmates!

We want to add that our community has been extremely supportive in making this day possible. From our gracious sponsors to those who have donated for the silent auction, this day would not be the same, or possible without you! We are thankful and proud to have prizes donated by some local and small businesses featured at the Garden Party. Some of these businesses include Crock a Doodle Guelph South, Piatto Pizzeria, Ariss Golf & Country Club and many many more! 

In the past year Focus on Nature has changed and grown in many ways. We have said both goodbyes and hellos to our team members and even expanded to a new region with great success! We invite you to make it out to our Garden Party to celebrate with us, and to truly admire the potential young people have with a camera in hand in the natural world around them.
