Hello! My name is Bri and I'm currently studying Neuroscience at Brock University. I have always loved nature, specifically hiking and camping. I have been working with children for a few years now and I find that teaching kids about their surroundings in nature can be an invaluable experience in sparking an interest in the environment and preservation. In my time off I am constantly exploring the hiking trails around my house, and writing poetry about all the things I find. I'm excited to teach your class all about photography and how to capture the beautiful nature surrounding us!

This Region is also available to be taught in French from May 1 - June 21, 2024.

What Hamilton & Niagara Had to Say 2023:

“The program was a great way for the students to have a hands-on approach to learning the elements of design. By including technology and the ability to get up and move, the students were completely engaged. The example pictures were very inspiring, especially when they realized they were taken by students. Our instructor was engaging, held the attention of the students, and was very knowledgeable. The equipment was all up to date and exciting to use.” - Kelsey

“This was a wonderful program and got even my most resistant children engaged and focused on a creative task. It helped them to see the elements of design in a concrete way and introduced artistic language that we can now use in the program. It also allowed us to have 1:1 tech so every child could work at once, something that is not possible otherwise. Best of all, they had fun and found joy in art and nature. ” - Jordan

“Amazing opportunity for everyone involved and very well planned. It allowed students to refine skills, appreciate the outdoors, use their own creativity, and take time to notice nature.” - Caroline
