Emerging Nature

Focus on Nature is proud to announce the opening, on March 1st, 2016 of Emerging Nature, a photography exhibit by sixty young photographers who have participated in Focus on Nature camps and school workshops.

Selected from tens of thousands of photos taken by students over the past 18 months, these final sixty were chosen by our volunteer judges as having special merit. Young people see the world differently than adults and these remarkable images capture their fascination with the natural world in interesting and delightful ways.

“This exhibit reveals the importance of a healthy child-nature connection. I hope that these photos will inspire people of all ages to spend more time outdoors discovering the wonders of the natural world around them”, said Simon Bell, Executive Director of Focus on Nature.

Location: eMERGE Guelph, 55 Wyndham St North, in Old Quebec Street Mall, across from PharmaPlus
Dates: the show has been held over until April 29th, 2016
Hours: Mondays – Thursdays,  9:30am – 5pm
